Ceramic Foam FilterCeramic Foam Filters are the porous structures that are constructed by using premium quality solid material which is comprised of an inorganic compound of metal, metalloid and non-metal with in which constituents are linked with ionic or covalent bonds. They have a foam like structure with fine minute interstices that are designed for mould-casting metal. Ceramic Foam Filters have a good porosity in between 10 to 40 pores per inch. These are considered as a cost effective method to remove the inclusions from molten metal melts and can also be used to filter and clean aluminium used for beverage can applications and aircraft alloys.
